Boating along the NW Coast of Corfu, Greece was definetly one of the best adventures we have had on a trip! Our September 2022 trip was spectacular and this added to it. Earlier on our trip we drove along the same coast, trekking down the cliffs to the various beaches. This day, we revisited these areas and saw them from the sea. Such a contrast.
Preparing for our Boat Trip
We were staying at Delfino Blu Resort in Agios Stefanos, NW. We easily booked this boat trip through the owner as the boats were just down the beach. Much to our delight, the kitchen also prepared us a picnic lunch to take with. In addition, Kostas, the owner showed us on a map where to go and the best places to stop for a swim or enjoy our lunch. I felt this went above and beyond and was very grateful for the information.
Heading North
After our lesson on operating the boat, etc., and our boat was set off in the right direction, we headed north. We were planning on cruising past each of the places we had driven to the day before and had seen from above. It was so much fun passing by these places from the sea and also gave an entirely different view of them.
Logas Beach

Cape Drastis

Canal d’Amour

Heading South
After we passed Canal d’ Amour we turned around and headed south also passing the same areas again only from the other direction. Just as beautiful. We passed by our hotel, continuing to head south.
Porto Timoni

Angelokastro
We hiked to the top of this rock to visit the ancient castle of Angelokastro which I will be writing about in a later post.

A Spot to Swim
After passing Porto Timoni, where we had visited earlier, we started to look for a spot to swim. We found the perfect spot, swam and also ate our picnic lunch. In addition, we were the only people in this area and it was absolutely wonderful. As you can see below, the water is amazingly clear and so refreshing.

Last Landmark
After a swim and a bite of lunch we headed further south as we wanted to revisit Giali beach which we had climbed down the cliff to reach this beach on our first day. It was pretty cool to see it from the sea and view the path with the ropes hanging down the cliff that we had used to assist our climb down and up. After boating in this area, we headed back north to Agios Stefanos and returned our boat, happy as could be!

Other Photos on the Sea
Not only was this a beautiful coast to boat along, it was also a beautiful day and additionally we were all smiles.

Conclusion
If you are in NW Corfu, Greece, renting a boat and boating along the coast is really well worth your time and money. We had a blast and cannot wait to do this type of activity again. In addition, we were able to see the coast at our own pace.

Who wouldn’t be all smiles on this boat ride in such a beautiful corner of the world?? The water looks so clear and crisp, and I would trade this cold, rainy weather where I am for warmer, sunnier weather! Glad you had a wonderful time in Greece. 🙂
