On our road trip this fall one of our favorite places we visited was Bryce Canyon, Utah and we were able to enjoy both a sunrise and sunset while there. Unfortunately there was some smoke or haze in the sky from the California wildfires but we still enjoyed the stillness of watching morning come and evening go.
The Sunrise was from October 3rd of 2020 and the Sunset was from October 2nd of 2020. I decided instead of following chronological order I would just show the sunrise photos first, followed by the sunset. All photos were taken along the rim between Sunrise and Sunset Points.

Conclusion
Even though we didn’t get the greatest photos, if you have a chance to see the sunrise and sunset at Bryce Canyon it is definitely worth it. Thursday post will be about the trails we hiked at Bryce Canyon.

Beautiful Sunrise & sunset Over Bryce Canyon!
Really nice.
Is it an option to do wild camping in the area?
Thank you!!
A beautiful capture of these precious moments of the day, wouldn’t you also dream of several sunsets a day?
Thanks! And yes!
Beautiful!!! Even with the smoke, or maybe because of it!
It was a beautiful place!!
Still looks lovely!
Thanks!!
Your photos look absolutely amazing and so does the Bryce Canyon. It’s one of the places I would love to visit one day 😀 Aiva
We really enjoyed Bryce! Hoping to go back one day!!
Awesome. Too bad about the smoke, but beautiful, nonetheless. We were at Bryce in January 2017 and really enjoyed the viewpoints and a hike down into the canyon. It is a special place. Thanks for sharing. Allan
Bryce was our favorite! We enjoyed the hikes and scenery and loved the less busy area!!
I haven’t gone to Bryce Canyon since 2007. But I clearly remember the views I got from the last photo in your post, and the sunset truly makes the scenery a hundred times more breathtaking! Such a beautiful part of the US, and I thank you for bringing back fond memories of that trip. 🙂
Find memories are such a blessing! We loved Bryce Canyon. So unique!
Stunning!
❤️❤️
Looks beautiful. Although we weren’t able to make it to Utah this year because of the pandemic, it’s good to get some good tips for when we can finally make it there! Looking forward to reading your next post about the trails!
We had a fantastic time in Utah!!! It is definitely a place to go!
Bryce is beautiful and interesting national park too. We visited Bryce in the summer of 2014 and had a wonderful time!
It is a great place!!
Even though I prefer sunrises to sunsets, your first picture of the sunset is spectacular…
