During our August 2024 stay in the Mani Peninsula of Greece we made the Aria Estate Suites and Spa our base. It was a perfect choice for us. We loved the peace and quiet of the countryside as well as the sea view. If you are looking for serenity this is the place! Although this location is not within walking distance to a village, most amenities are on site!
Location
Aria Estate Suites and Spa is located along the western coast of the Mani Peninsula in the Peloponnese area of Greece. It is 3k (1.86 miles) south of Limeni and 3.8 km (2.36 miles) west of Areopoli. It is a curvy road either direction and you will drive on a narrow dirt road for a short time.
Aria Estate Suites and Spa
This luxury hotel blends perfectly with nature and truly is a peaceful retreat. The minute we arrived we knew we could kick back and relax here. To be honest we spent more time here than we planned and missed a couple of places we had planned to visit in the Mani! Part of the reason is this resort is so comfortable and peaceful we hated to leave, the other reason, is it was so very hot we limited our activities to the early morning and evening. Which left us the afternoon to lounge in the pool!
Our Room
We stayed in the One Bedroom Sea View Superior Suite. It was spacious, comfortable and nicely designed. We had a walled outdoor seating area in the back of the suite and in front, the large terrace provided us with a lovely spot to enjoy the sunset with gorgeous views of the sea.
The Views
Pool
Even the pool offered a tranquil sanctuary with a lovely view of the sea. We enjoyed a mid afternoon lunch poolside after exploring the area a couple of the days.
The Spa
Aria Estate Suites and Spa also offers a top notch spa. I enjoyed an amazing massage here one afternoon after our e-bike tour of the Mani. I had taken a fall and a massage felt great.
Breakfast
Breakfast is included with the room and made to order. Served on the terrace outside of the main building, it is the perfect spot to start the day and also includes a beautiful view. Each day there was a little something different yet some of the same stables. Breakfast was very tasty, we sat outdoors taking in each morning.
Dinner
Our first night we decided to dine here. Like breakfast, dinner is also on the terrace outside the main building. Dinner was excellent and also included great service. The ambiance was so very perfect.
Night Views
We snapped a few photos at night as well and were able to get a few dramatic shots.
Conclusion
As you can see, Aria Estate Suites and Spa is a lovely area and part of what we loved while visiting the Mani-Peninsula in Greece. Of course there were so many places we loved about the Mani. I totally recommend Aria Estates, not just for the facilities, although they are fantastic, but also the friendly the staff and delicious meals.
