A Rough Hike up the Bright Angel Trail at the Grand Canyon

In May, 2018, I found this to be true, and due to many factors, my hike up the Bright Angel Trail at the Grand Canyon was much more difficult than it needed to be. Thanks to the generosity of strangers, this hike was all the more special.

Downtown Chicago has so much to see within walking distance. The Lake Front Trail, Chicago Bean, and Chicago River are all great places to explore. We spent 24 hours in Chicago and enjoyed the busy city life along with visiting family.

Visiting the Black Hills is a great adventure. Along with seeing Mt. Rushmore and viewing wildlife, we also hiked to the highest peak in South Dakota. Once to the top of the peak, we climbed an old fire watch tower, so much to see!
