Here is week #13 of Ordinary Photos, not much going on! Although we did have Thanksgiving and have so much to be Thankful for!
We had another unusual week of mostly nice weather. Monday it snowed but melted the next day and by the end of the week we were close to 60 degrees Fahrenheit! Made for another good week of walking outdoors.

Beautiful big snowflakes made a pretty scene during the day! I tried to get a good snap of a single flake on my deck railing.

I couldn’t decide between making pumpkin or pecan pie. I usually make both. So I decided to add a layer of pecan praline topping on top of my pumpkin pie! Of course there was whipped cream too.

Thanksgiving for just two this year as Covid persists in our country. Much smaller feast than usual but we cannot complain, missed our kids but chatted with them all!!

Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving from Steve and I. I don’t normally wear a hat in my own home but my hairdresser unfortunately has Covid so I am hiding my grey!!!

Not as clear of a photo as I would like but caught this bald Eagle while we were driving down a dirt road. I snapped it out the window of my passenger seat and he was gone by the time Steve stopped and pulled over.
Hope everyone is doing well and we will see what the next week brings!! Thanks for reading!!

Crazy how the weather still changes dramatically, from below 32°F to a temperate 60°F! That pumpkin-pecan pie looks divine; I normally don’t care for pumpkin pie, but I do love pecan pie. Perhaps having a bit of both makes for a rich and decadent treat! Thanks for the update, and I’m looking forward to another next week!
The weather does have some extremes!! I love both pies so this was a good compromise!! Thanks for reading!!
Winter can be tolerated as long as it is pretty and it has some unique ways of making pretty. I like your pie solution Lori. Why can’t you have both? Glad you were able to celebrate Thanksgiving safely. Stay well and thanks for sharing. Allan
I agree winter is much better when it looks pretty! Thanks for reading! Take care!! Lori

The hat is perfect for photography, it gives style. I’m glad you could celebrate a safe Thanksgiving in your turn. It was the right time to look back on this special year with hope now in sight.

Wow, we don’t get snow where I live so I have never seen a snowflake like that before.
We get plenty here! These were unusually big fluffy snowflakes!
