This weeks ordinary photos #11 were pretty ordinary. Not getting out much except for walking around the neighborhood and picking up groceries. I’m finding that I am not enjoying the chilly weather but grateful for sunshine! Each day I look for the good and beauty in life.

My rhubarb plant is long gone for the season, but the leaves turning red are pretty.

Lone dandelion in someone’s yard seen on my walk! I felt I could relate!! Lol

Homemade flatbread chicken pizza on the grill was a perfect treat on a chilly evening. Fun to put together as well!

We have a new coffee shop in our neighborhood, just down the street. We finally had a great day to walk over and try it out! It did not disappoint! I was so excited because I’ve never lived anywhere within walking distance of a coffee shop!!!

Could not take one more day of not going somewhere outside the neighborhood. We decided to go to the East Village area of downtown Drs Moines to walk around and do some old fashion window shopping. It was a great way to get out yet social distance! Fun just to be someplace different and a great mood boost!

That’s it for week #11 of Ordinary photos! Next week is supposed to be warmer so I am thinking about walking different areas of the town just to change things up and brighten my week! Plus next week will include a milestone for my family that I can’t wait to share! Even in these scary times we alway have something to be thankful for. Hope you all had a good week too and stay safe and healthy!!

Love these photos! Truly shows the beauty in small things in life;)
Thanks!!
Nothing ordinary about homemade flatbread chicken pizza. Yum – oh!!!!
It was pretty good!!
So jealous that you are walking distance of a good coffee shop. We only have Tim Hortons and Starbucks nearby. Thank Goodness I am the family barista and have found a good source for roasted beans. As a matter of fact, your post made me crave an American, so off I go…….Glad you are still safe, enjoying an ordinary week. Stay well. Allan
We usually grind our beans at home but somethings it’s nice to grab a coffee at a coffee shop! Nothing like a good cup
Of coffee or chai!! Take care!!
That flatbread looks enticing! I can see that paired with a glass of strong red wine…the street art in town is so colorful and vibrant, and a good way to bring cheer to the otherwise cold and dreary weather these days. Thanks for sharing, and I can’t to see what you’re up to next week!
Thanks. I must admit I had a glass of Cabernet with the Flatbread!!!
Yay! 🙂
I love your “ordinary” phots! Keep posting them, please!
Thank you!!
Chilly weather is ok, cold weather not so much. When it’s 10 degrees with 15-20 mph wind. The flatbread does look good and beer or wine. Both have their qualities. Like the others, I have become fairly decent at making pour over coffee. If one is not in a hurry, the making of the meal is as good as the eating. Well, maybe, as good. SMILE. Nice pics, Lori. jerry
Thanks, Jerry! Maybe we will get lucky this year and have a mile winter!! Hopefully you are staying healthy up in Siouxland!
Loved it! Great post!
Thanks!!!
I love this series, you have a lot of positive energy in them and it makes me smile seeing you smile. Also it is nice to share in the small joys of other people’s lives. Take care.

You made me smile even from the other side of the world hehe
Well I am glad! Smiles seem
Few and far between this year!!😊😊😊😊
The pizza looks so delicious!
Thanks!
